GISBORNE SUPREME COURT.
CRIMINAL SITTINCS. CASES SET DOWN FOR HEARING. The Supreme Court criminal sittings Avill open before Air Justice Chapman at Gisborne on Monday. The following is a list of the charges set down for hearing : Jas. Behash, rape. John Parsons, indecent- assault. Albert Sweeney, breaking and entering and theft. John Lemmon, breaking, entering and theft. Samuel WadsAVort-h, breaking, entering and theft. Pua Babbington, theft. Ngaroroa Nuku Nuku, theft. The following prisoners will come up for sentence: —Albert Sweeney, theft, and William Third, theft. The civil list Avas not completed yesterday, but it is understood that there Avill be' about six cases, besides several applications to be made in Chambers. It is. also probable that one divorce action Avill come on for hearing. A sitting in bankruptcy Avill also be held while His Honour is in Gisborne. Three applications for discharges Avill he applied for. One bankrupt- will 1 also he publicly examined.
