WARNING TO THE VATICAN.
THE RECENT PAPAL DECREE. (.UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION “COPYRIGHT.? (Received March 8, 11 p.m.) BERLIN, March 8. Herr von Hollweg, speaking in the Prussian Diet, gave a quiet, but emphatic, warning to the Vatican in connection with the recent decree. The Government declined to dissolve Catholic Faculties at the University, hut were decidedly of the opinion that the Catholic clergy and teachers, who taught German and history in the State schools, should not do so after they had subscribed to the Modernist oath.
