The following are- values of principal articles exported from New Zealand during the month -of February : —Butter, £308,423; cheese, £152,171; beet (frozen), £31,800'; mutton (frozen, carcases), £ 109,001; mutton (frozen, legs and’ pieces). £4616; lamb (frozen;, £224,4-55; wheat, £8951; oats, £966; potatoes, £417 ; hemp, £30,181; rabbits, £1642: tow r £2237; kauri gum, £33,504; grain and , pulse (other than- oats and wheat), £1638; hops, £191; hides, £13,021; skins, all kinds, £46,821; tallow £41.828; timber, £36,255; wool, £1,181.672; gold, £106,939. The total value for the mouth . was £2,346,744, compared with £2,962,778 for the corresponding period last decrease of £816,030 for the' 12 months ended February, 1911.
