ARAI-MATAWAI BLOCK.
ADJOURNED MEETING OF OWNERS. The adjourned meeting of the owners of the Arai-Matawai block was continued in Lysliar’s Hall yesterday. Mr L. F. Williams, clerk of the Tairawliiti Native Land Board was in the chair, owing to the absence from town of Mr A. Iveefer. president of the Board. The owners went into committee and on resuming, passed the following resolution, which will be presented for confirmation at the next meeting of the Board: —"That lot 1, containing 1000 acres, be leased to James Sisterson ; lot 2. BSS acres, he leased to Alexander Mcßae; lot 3, 1100 acres, be leased to Donald Gordon; lot 4, 1155 acres, be leased to Thomas Sisterson: all from July 1. 1911, for a term of 21 years, at a rental of 5 per cent. on. the Government capital valuation of each subdivision; with a right of renewal for a further 21 years, at a rental of 5 per cent, on the then capital value of each subdivision.”
