The Mexican Finance Minister here, also the Ambassador, announce the reception of assurances from Washington of the sincere co-operation of the American with the Mexican Administration. Mr. Dickinson, the War Secretary, authorises the announcement that the Government has not contemplated intervention at- any time ; neither would more troops be mobilised. The Ambassador says he lias received President Taft’s positive- assurances of friendship towards Mexico. American warships call at Mexico ports merely for coaling purposes.
