LABOR DENOUNCES CANADIAN MILITIA. The Trades and Labor Council, at a meeting last night, passed a resolution characterising the Canadian mi.jtia., as “not only a useless drain upon the public funds, but also the hired tool in the hands of corporations, contractors, and capitalists for the prevention, or suppression of any .movement .brought, forward by labor tin ions and intended to promote their independence and rights.”
