[UNITED ■ PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.! (Received March 19, 5’ p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, March IS. The Porte has agreed to allow the Bagdad Railway Company to extend the line to Bagdad. The company has renounced its lien of 4 per centum on the increase in customs duties, receiving instead a security upon the Empire’s general revenues. The company will build a branch line from Osmanich- to Alexandretta. The company will algo construct a harbour at Alexandretta. Reuter’s Constantinople correspondent reports that the company has agreed to the Porte arranging the construction of the Bagdnd-Persian Gulf section of the line on the basis of Germany having equal participation with any foreign Power.
