At billiards, Roberts, on behalf of Gray, has challenged Stevenson to a' match of 18,000 level for £IOOO aside, to be played with ivory balls, in September. A meeting of Gray and Stevenson is unlikely. A match between Gray and Inman" is almost assured. Crystallite balls will be used. The match will he for £250 aside, the winner taking 60 per cent, of the gate.
