BOWRON BROS., BERMONDSEY.
NOT CONNECTED WITH BOWRON’ EXPORT CO.. NEW ZEALAND. TPEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.J CHRISTCHURCH, March 22. The failure of Bowron Bros., leather and sheepskin importers, of Bermondsey, England, reported by cable yesterday will not affect in' any way the Bowron Export Co. here. *.A‘‘Press’ reporter who made inquiries to-day, was informed that the firm mentioned acted up to within the last si-x months or so as agents for Bowron Bros, and Co., Ltd., of New Zealand, a distinct body from the London company, and carried on by different members of the Bowron family. That was the only business relation between the two companies, and that relation itself ceased in respect of the recently-formed Bowron Bros. Export Company when that conlpany took over the leather business of Bowii'on Bros., and no trade connection existed between the New Export company and the' English company either directIv oi’ indirectly. Bowron Bros, of New Zealand will, however, be creditors for quite a considerable amount in the estate of the English company. ,
