THE OVERDUE STEAMER YONGALA. BRISBANE, March 27. Search steamers have returned without tidings of the Yongala.. The vessel carries a crew of seventy and a large number of passengers. The anxiety is greater owing to recent cyclonic storms. There is a hope that the steamer, in a disabled condition is sheltering at some of the islands. -vE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SOULS ABOARD. There are no tidings of the Yongala. Altogether about one hundred and fifty souls are aboard, including -the ship’s company, numbering 72. Several steamers, including three Government vessels, are continuing the search. Captain Knight, of the Yongala, is an old and experienced officer. The belief is expressed that he either ran to the open sea to escape the cyclone, or possibly the vessel's machinery is damaged, and she is sheltering inshore. The Spanish steamer Septiembere is stranded* at Saint Martin’s, Scilly Islands. THE ROSENDALE WRECK. (Received March 28, 12.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 27.

The Marine Court found that no blame was attachable to anyone in connection with the wreck of the steamer Rosdale on January 12th. The evidence indicated that the mishap was due to exceptionally large rollers causing the vessel to hump in the river.
