The Customs and excise revenue for the nine months is £9,846,463, an increase of £1,100,000 over the same period last year. If the same ratio is continued to the end of the year the receipts will -reach over thirteen millions, which is far in advance of any previous year. For March alone the increase was £190,000. Air Fisher, in his Budget speech in October, estimated the Oustons increase for the year at only £ ISO,OOO.
