In the past the revenue derived from these leases was about £4OO per annum, and now they were told they could get £7OOO from them. He strongly advocated the principle of “one-man-one-sec-tion,” and concluded by urging the people to get their names on the roll and on the day of the poll to exercise their vote in a thoughtful manner, and m the way they deemed to be in the best interests'of the community as a whole.
