RECEPTION TO HUGH J. WARD AND GRACE PALOTTA.

WELLINGTON, April 10. This afternoon Mr Hugh J. Y ard, Miss Grace Palotta and the members of Mr Ward's company were tendered a public reception at the Town Hall by the citizens of Wellington in recognition of their services in helping, the children’s hospital fund last year. The Mayor presided over the gathering, at. which there w_ere about 3000 persons. Mr Ward and Miss Palotta each received souvenir tablets bearing a sketch of the new' hospital, in silver, and each member of the company was presented with a photograph pf (the address to Mr Ward, which is surrounded by photographs of members of the company. The proceedings were very enthusiastic.
