MEXICO' CITY, April 9. General William Baden, with. a band of American rebels, attacked the Federal forces five miles south of Mexicali. The rebels were defeated, eighty being killed. General William Baden was mortally wounded by the fragment of a shell. The looted stores were recaptured.
General Madero, insurgent leader, a t the head of 6000 men, has started for Casagrande region, and a battle is expected. The Chamber of Deputies voted four million dollars to suppress the insurrection.
Rebels trapped a force of ninety Federate at a canyon near Atlixco, Puebla. The Federate were shot down, a few wounded alone escaping. DETAILS OF RECENT FIGHTING.

New York advices state that a. revolutionary force composed of SO Americans, commanded by an American exquartermaster, attacked a position held by 500 Mexican troops. The attackers were repulsed, losing 60 killed and wounded. On the other hand, 90 Federalists were ambushed and annihilated at Atlixco.
