MOTION TO STRIKE SOLICITOR • OFF ROLL. (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.J WELLINGTON, April 11. The Appeal Court to-day heard a motion, for a rule absolute to strike John Francis Pullen, of Auckland, off the troll of solicitors, for alleged misconduct. It was alleged that Pullen wrote a letter to another solicitor, containing a threat that criminal.proceedings would: be instituted' by Pullen’s client unless a certain sum of money, £704, was refunded by the. other solicitor, who refused, and criminal proceedings Aver© instituted, ending in Mahoney’s complete vindication without the defence being called on. Mr. Cotter is appearing for the Auckland Law Society, and Mr. Earl for Pullen.
