REVOLT IN A SPANISH TOWN.
A REPUBLIC PROCLAIMED
UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION —COPYEIGHT.J MADRID, April 10. A section of the populace at Caniles, a town iiv tEe South-East of Spain, proclaimed a republic. They attacked the civil guards, five persons being wounded. Reinforcements for the guard have been sent.
THE CAUSE OF THE TROUBLE (Received April 11. 10.15 p.m.) MADRID, April 11
Reinforcements, including 1500 marines and infantry with some machine guns, from Cadiz, are proceeding to Laraichi. Two --arsons were killed in the Candle disturbance which was due to the seizure of cattle iiv default of payment of payment of town dues.
