The schooner Awanui arrived on Wednesday with 33,000 ft of timber from Mercury Bay. She left Mercury Bay on the Thursday, and arrived at Tokomaru Bay on Tuesday, where 43,000 ft of timber was lauded. , . a The three-masted scow Hawk armed from Auckland on Thursday morning with 300 tons of railway iron. The ketch Coronation is expected to sail from Mercury Bay* via Tologa Bay. The Union s.s. Co.’s Haupm, which is at present working the Coast, is expected to arrive to-day, and will leave for Wellington this evening. , , , . The ketch Coronation is expected to leave for Mercury Bay to-day. The Canterbury Shipping Co. s Petone is expected to arrive from the South tod The Union S.S. Co.’s Waipori arrived from Auckland yesterday morning with o cargo of coal. . , p. . Messrs. Richardson and Co. s Ripple arrived from Napier yesterday morning with a general cargo. She leaves for Picton to-day. „ Messrs. Hnddart, Parker Co. s Wimmera arrives from the Smith to-day, and proceeds to Auckland and Sydney later in the dav. ... The Union S.S. Co.’s Tarawera will return from Auckland to-monow. The Union Co.’s Squall left Auckland at 12-30 n.m. on Tuesday, and arrived at Tologa Bay at 5.30 p.m. on Thursday. She discharged a quantity of general car-o-o there, and continued her passage _ to Gisborne at 9.30 a.m. on Friday, arrrnng jn the roadstead at 2 p.m. on that daj. Smooth sea and light winds were experienced throughout the passage. Her car„o for this port consisted as follows: 150 hags cement, 150 sacks lime, a quan -lty of sugar, bars of iron, steel, rails, and timber, 100 sash weights. 130 bags salt, 3 cylinders ammonia, 240 sacks coal, 4d socks malt, IS bundles shooks, 22 cases iarn. 20 cases soda. .1 case tobacco, _ls bales tow, 50 bundles wire, 60 reels wire, 10 cases champagne. 10 cases rum, 20 cases schnapps, 6 casks vinegar, 18 bales kapok, 316 cases whisky, 100 sacks flour, 240 cases kerosene, 105 cases benzine, 80 1001 b bags flour, 40 501 b bags flour, and a large quantity of general cargo, including transhipments from the steamer Maheno, Kia Ora.
