NEW INVENTIONS

Mr. Grahame White, the well-known aviator, offers to provide the British Admiralty with bullet-proof flotabie aeroplanes, which will he capable of rising from the water. Details have been received of a device intended for use in aerial warfare, which has just been patented by the German firm of Krupps, Ltd. The new invention consists of a highly sensitive fuse, which ensures the explosion of a projectile upon its impact with the delicate resistance afforded by the gas-bag of a balloon or the light covering of an aeroplane.
