The Portuguese steamer Lusitania, insured in London for £90,000, -has been AA-recked at Cape Point during a mist. The cruiser Forte and a tug took off the passengers and crew, numbering 800. News from Tonga, by the Tofua, states that the Boveric came off the reef at Nukualofa, under her own steam, and after examination by divers from H.M.S. Encounter. Avhich Avas there Avith a portion of the scientific party Avho have gone to view the eclipse at Vavau, it was decided to continue the voyage to San Francisco in company with the steamer Oceano, which is under charter to the same company. The Boveric Avas compelled to jettison 900 tons of coal before she got off.
