TWO MILLIONS FOR RAILWAYS

The loan referred to in the cable messages is intended for railway purposes.

The Queensland loan prospectus has been issued. Six months’ interest is payable on July Ist. The loan is redeemable after 1959, and finally in 1970. The “Daily Mail” comments on the length of the term, and states that existing loans yield more owing to their earlier redemption.
