VANT GIRL.

Mrs Willsmith, a prominent Christian Scientist and Salvation Army worker, of Worcester, her son, and a bailiff are being charged with terribly ill-treating a servant girl aged thirteen, who alleges that they, mercilessly beat her and afterwards salted the wounds. She has 34 permanent scars, many four inches long. The girl came from an orphanage when seven years old, and was made a household drudge. The prisoners have been committed for trial.'
