The Conservatives have decided to oppose reciprocity to the bitter end, and to maintain obstructive tactics in Parliament. It is now considered improbable that Sir Wilfrid Laurier will be able to go to London except by amending the Parliamentary rules in .order to apply the gag. The Liberals cannot hope to carry reciprocity before June or July.
