PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr. Crowther, of Wellington, has keen appointed Clerk of the Court at Wairc-a, and entered on his new duties last week “Still doing well” was the text- of the telegraphic advice from Wellington yesterday in reference to the condition of the Mayor (Mr W. D. Lysnar). Mr M. B. Mander is to return this morning from a trip- to Rotorua. Mr and Mrs Vincent Barker and family together with Miss A. de Lautour, return to 'Gisborne by this morning’s steamer after, their visit to England. The name of Captain Rainey, rine superintendent for the Tyser Line, Ltd-., appears in the list of passengers telegraphed from Napier last evening.
