INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
AT AUCKLAND' NEXT-YEAR. LPEE PEESS ASSOCIATION i AUCKLAND, May 9. It has been definitely decided to hold an Inteimational Exhibition in Auckland in 1912. A committee appointed by the Chamber of Commerce has declared unanimously in favor of the proposal. Mr. B. Kent, who agreed to accept the office of president, stated tlifit •’■x'i Auckland' Exhibition of . 1898 was a splendid success. Though, it would be necessary to obtain guarantors for at least £IO,OOO for the forthcoming exhibition no difficulty was anticipated on this score. iHe added that no doubt the Government would treat the promoters liberally, as they dlid in assisting the 1898 exhibition.
