The Education Board to-day discfussed the practice of withdrawing Catholic children from country school classes at certain times for religious instruction preparatory to confirmation. The Board decided that the. practice should not be interfered with. The Board now does its own repairs and painting, and- at present employs four carpenters three painters, and two apprentices.
