Victoria, North. May 27. Tarawera, South, May 2S. VESSELS IN PORT Senorita, barquentine. Indrabarah, in the bay. The Union Co.’s Monowai arrived from Auckland at a very late hour last night. The Tuatea made one trip, leaving the wharf at 10 p.m., and returning at 1.30 a.m., and the Monowai sailed for Napier a little later. The liner Indrabarah did not get away for the South as projected last evening. The Union Co/s Tarawera, from Napier and southern ports, arrived in the roadstead yesterday morning, and after being tendered at the usual hours resumed her passage to Auckland. The Union Co.’s Squall, with general cargo, arrives from Auckland and Tologa Bay to-day, and sails on the return passage this evening. The Union Co/s Haupiri was expected to leave Napier last evening for Gisborne, and should • arrive this morning. She is timed to sail for Auckland later in the day. The auxiliary schooner Orete arrived in the bay from Anckland. via East .Coast bays, about 1 p.m., yesterday, and came up to the wharf at 3 p.m. Leaving Auckland on Saturday, April 22, she experienced light winds as far as Cape Runaway, which was reached on Monday, 24th. Cape Runaway and Te Kaha were worked between the 24th and 26th. The vessel came to anchor at Little Awanui on the 26th, and remained there until the 29th, on account of the high sea and strong winds prevailing. Leaving the last-named port on the 29th, she worked Omaio, Marienmi, and Awakino, and loaded 1000 posts from the last-nam-ed for Waipiro Bay. On Tuesday, 2nd inst., she anchored at Cape Runaway, and remained there until Friday, sth, leaving and working Hick's Bay, Te Aroha, on that day. She reached Waipiro last Sunday, and unloaded posts there on Monday. Leaving there the same evening she arrived at Port Awanui on Tuesday morning, and sailed again on the same afternoon, being unable to work cargo on account of the had weather prevailing. Throughout the latter stages of the voyage strong north-easterly winds and heavy seas were experienced. /The vessel brought 9 tons of coal and 7000 ft of timber, besides one passenger for this port. Messrs. Huddart, Parker, arid Co/s Wimmera is due to arrive from Napier and the south on Saturday morning, and will be tendered at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., afterwards leaving for Anckland. The Union Co/s Taraweta returns from Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay, on Sunday afternoon. She will be tendered at the usual hours, and proceeds to Napier the same evening.
