DOMINION BOY SCOUTS.

THE LOCAL. TROOP

Last Friday- night there were 15 boys at the Phyiscal Culture class -held in the scouts rooms. Rev. W. Grant, the instructor, put the junior section through their exercises and then, taught them two new ones. At 7.30 p.m. the instructor took the seniors, and after putting them, through their old course lie gave them four new exercises. So far the class is progressing very well. At 8 p.m. tine new drill instructor assembled 27 Scouts andl put them through a lot of drill while on the march. They were taught, among other things how to pass obstacles and, it is lio-ped -will soon be able to do it well. : j After on -hour’s drilling the Scouts- were dismissed; Owing to the football season having started, no parade was held last Saturday. Meet of the Scouts are keen footballers. Last Sunday morning *23 'Scouts attended- the Rally, where Sergt.-Ma-jor McNair addressed them on St. Paul. The hoys- enjoyed the address very much and 1 hope soon to hear the same speaker again. At the Scouts Bible Class six boys met and discussed tilie life of Joseph under Mr. R. 'Russell' (leader).
