S ATISFACTORY IMPROVEMENT RECORDED. especial io times] WELLINGTON, May 12. Mr. W. D. Lysnar, in the course of a few remarks/ stated that he would be leaving the private hospital on Sunday, and would probably return to Gisborne on Saturday next, 20th inst. He is progressing very satisfactorily, and his medical attendants have given him permission, during the last- two days, to drive about town for half an hour in the morning and afternoon. The pains have quite left his bead, and his remaining eye shows signs of recovering its strength. His bodily strength is undiminished, and lie. feels quite able to undertake his Mayoral duties, although he will have to take matters easily for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Lysnar desire to thank the people of Gisborne for the kindly sympathy extended to them in their trouble. ' ,
