The United States Cabinet is still undecided as to her recognition of the Mexican rebels, but is determined to preserve her neutrality. The Mexican President, Porfirio Dias, refuses to pda cate the rebels by resigning while the country is in an unsettled state. Mexico City is said to be threatened by the revolutionaries, who have recently captured the garrison at Acapulco. Two disastrous shipwrecks are recorded in to-day’s cables. The Johannesburg tr.aimvay strike is assuming alarming proportions. The Rt. Hem. A. J. Balfour had a flight in Mr. Grahame-White’s aeroplane. Satisfactory tests are also reported of aeroplanes for war purposes.
