POVERTY BAY CLUB

A large number of players took part in the bogey match for the monthly medal on-Saturday afternoon. The weather was favorable, and some good rounds AA’ere done. The competition A\'as AA'on by J. Howie, aa'lio, AA'itli a handicap of 6, finished 2 up on the Colonel. G. M. Dodgshun (plus 2) maintained his consistent form bv finishing 1 up. N., Bull (scr) finished up all square, and Barns-Graliam- (2) ended 2 down. All the players lnentioued played good golf. There Avere a large number of players out during tlie afternoon, and afternoon tea was kindly provided by the Misses Black.
