TITIRANGI ROAD BOARD.

FIRST MEETING OF NEW BODY

The first meeting of the newly-elected Titirangi Road Board, was held in the Cook County chambers yesterday, the following .members being present: —Mr. J. W. Nolan. J. W. Bell, H, E. Bright, and A. Trevor Coleman. Mr. J. W. Nolan was elected to the chair.

The balance sheet which was adopted, showed a credit of £-50’ 17s 3d 1 .

A petition was received, asking the Board to raise a loan to the extent of. £750 for reading purposes at Endcliffo. It was decided to accede to the request, and proceed at once to raise a loan for the amount named.

Correspondence was received from the Public Works Department relating to the boundary of Endcliffo. It was decided that the meeting of the Board should be held on the second Monday in each month.
