TO-DAY’S MATCHES

The team picked to play for the Mercantile Club against Civil Sendee to-day at 2.15 p.m., is as follows: Faram, Sim, J, .Doyle, Hennessy, G. Grant, Maynard, Scarf, Evans, F. J. Quigley, A. Quigley, Green, and.Shann. The ground is Carroll’s paddock, and players are requested to meet there at 2 p.m. Owing to tho fact that the team has only been formed about a week jerseys have not yet come to hand, but it is hoped that the same will be here very early now. The colors are black and white quarter stripes. Tine following will represent the Civil Service in their match against Mercantile at 2.15 p.m.: —Porte, Rutherford, Auld Turei, File, Robinson, Rigby, Maher, Aloon. Mc-Coomb, Paton and Paltridge.
