STATISTICS AT FAULT. Examination of the health department records of New York proves that Elinor Glynn was wrong again when she declared that there had n-ot been a birth on Fifth-avenue, New York’s highway of fashion, in the last two years.

The records show that in 1909 there were (seven babies born on Fifthavenue, between Washington Arch and 105th-street, a distance of 110 blocks. In- 1910 11 babies were borri J in the same neighborhood.
