DESERTERS FROM A PLANTATION EATEN BY CANNIBALS. [UNITED. PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] (Received May 22, 12.5 a.m.) MORESBY, May 21. A single survivor of a party of thirteen natives' who deserted from a plantation lias arrived here. He states that after deserting they met- a party of cannibals who bound and killed the -remainder of the party. The survivor managed to bite the bonds and escape. From undercover he watched cannibals cook arid eat his friends.
