FLOUR AS SHAMPOO POWDER.
Whey applying flour to the hair as a dry shampoo it is a good plan to spread a large newspaper over the dressingtable or bathroom floor, and to wear a light dresing-gbwn, as, of course, tlie flour mg.kes a good deal of white dust; but it dues cleanse the hair thoroughly, and makes it soft and fluffy also, and easy to dress, nicely, and is a far more •pleasant method' than the old home shampooing which many of us are obliged to be contented; with in these saveall days, and does not harm the hair either.
