FOUND IN THE BUSH. IPER PRESS ASSOCIATION.! NEW PLYMOUTH, May 22. The “Herald’s” Perekapa- correspondent reports that a Mrs Schultz, wlio lives alone at the junction of Makarakia and Mold roads, was found by Mr Raby on Saturday morning in the husli, and removed to Mr. J. Hutchen’s house on Sunday. At midday she left for her home, but apparently lost her way, for this morning it was reported that she was found last night at midnight, and removed to' a fencers’, camp. The police have been communicated with. DIRECT LINER AT NEW PLYMOUTH/ The steamer Lauderdale, flying the flag of the Maoriland Steamship Coy., arrived at New Plymouth this afternoon direct from Liverpool. This is the first direct steamer from Home to berth" at the breakwater. She brings cargo principally of artificial manures. IRISH ENVOYS. WELLINGTON, May 22. Mr J. D. Donovan, one of the Irish Home Rule Envoys, speaks gratefully of the support accorded throughout New Zealand. He says that he and his colleagues have completely beaten the record of Air Devlin (£5000). ANGLICAN CHURCH FOR MASTERTON. MASTER TON, May 22. A new Anglican church is about to be erected in Masterton at an estimated cost of £OOOO. Mr C. J. Mountford, architect, Christchurch, was to-night appointed the architect for the building. THE CHURCH AND' THE CADET MOVEMENT. DUNEDIN, May 22. At a meeting of the Council of Churches to-night the following motion was approved: “That while deeply appreciating the offer to form church companies of cadets and nominate officers thereto, the Council is of opinion that churches as such should take no part in the formation of cadet companies.
