GERMANY AND JAPAN.
AN ALLIANCE PREDICTED
The prediction is made in well-inform-ed 1 quarters that there will be an alliance between Germany and Japan. Count Reventlow, the well-known naval authority, says that if America shows signs of adopting an unfriendly attitude towards Germany, the latter will seek an alliance with- Japan. The United States, he adds, might well reflect as to whether its interests would be served 1 by forcing Germany into a community of interests with Japan.
