AN ENORMOUS MEMBERSHIP. ADMIRAL’S' SIGNIFICANT STATEMENT. V [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received May 29, 11.10' p.m.) BERLIN, May 29. The membership of the Navy League is noAV 1,034,987. The annual meeting unanimously adopted a resolution advocating the building of a third armoured cruiser annually until 1917.
The president, Admiral Von Koester, stated that Britain had forty armoured cruisers, of which tAventy-nine had a speed of tAventy-three knots, or upward, and the sloAvest, with a speed of twentyone, would take fifth place in the German Navy.
