CORRESPONDENCE.
THE HOLIDAY CONTROVERSY,
[TO THE EDITOR.'J
Sir, —Noticing in your issue of this morning that the retail shopkeepers have decided to observe Monday as a holiday, we would like you to kindly inform us through the medium of your valuable publication if this decision is unanimous. To our knowledge we could name many retail business firms besides ourselves who have never been consulted in the- matter.
You must excuse us for encroaching on your valuable space, but we beg to be excused, as we feel we are only voicing the sentiments of the many other retailers who, like ourselves, have never been given an opportunity of expressing our opinion on this matter.— Yours, etc., RETAILER AND EMPLOYER.
