awarded the Humane Society’s gold medal, was presented by the Mayor, on behalf of the public of Waihi. with a gold medal and clock. Mr Moran kept his companion above water for over .two hour. They were event, tally hauled on shore in an exhausted e-n----dition. A month ago Mr Moran res rendered totally blind by an explosion in a mine. The concert- was given in his aid.
