A lawsuit is pending in the Bavarian town of . Wurzburg, in which the relatives of the ■ late Fraulein Endress- are endeavoring Ito recover a bequest of £SOOO that was made by the deceased' to the Pope.
Although in poor circumstances the relatives themselves inherit nothing under the dead woman’s will, and they are nenv seeking to prove that the testatrix was of unsound mind, and therefore incapable of disposing of her property.
The suit is being contested, but negotiations ere in progress for a settlement of the case.
