For Vancouver and other parts of Canada, and United States of America, Hawaiian Islands, and Japan; also, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Vancouver (due in London 11th July), per s.s. Navua from Auckland, connecting with s.s. Makura at Fiji, per Hauroto, 4 p.m. Correspondence for Continent of Europe must be specially addressed "via Vancouver.” POST AND TELEGRAPH HOLIDAY. King’s Birthdav, Saturday 3rd June, to bo observed as a Post and Telegraph holiday. Hours as hereunder stated will be observed-.—Post Office, open in all branches'from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Money Order and Savings Bank branch excepted. Letter carriers delivery from private box wicket from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. A special counter and letter, carriers wicket delivery will also be made from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening previous. Mails usually despatched on Saturday will be finally closed at 7 a.m. The usual 6 aim. train mails "will be sent. Telegraphic Office opens 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. The Auckland mail will not close till 9 a.m. , Telephone Excnange as usual, viz: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Late fee letters 15 minutes later all mails. Money orders for beyond New Zealand close' 1 hour 30 minutes before the closing of the ordinary mail. In regard to places within the colony, money orders and registered letters close 1 hour, and parcel post parcels 30 minutes before the ordinary mail . W. H. RENNER, Chief Postmaster.
