COMING BACK TO THE COLONIES.
BOXER TOMMY BURNS
Tommy Burns says he will visit Australia in September next. In the meantime he will allow his protege, Jack Lester, to remain in Sydney, and be re-matched against Bill Lang as soon as his wrist is all right. Burns has evidently been misinformed as to the nature of the injury suffered by his protege. There is nothing wrong with the latter’s wrist. It was a nerve in the upper part of Lester’s right arm that became temporarily paralysed, and was the cause of his suddenly stopping in liis fight with Lang at the Stadium last Saturday week.
