MEETING OF GISBORNE BRANCH. A meeting of the Gisborne branch .of the Labor Party was held last evening. There Avas a large attendance, and*. Mi’ A. H. Anderson was voted to the chair. ' , „ . • A letter was received from Mr D. ML Laron, M.P., giving an. account of the work done by the National Executive which showed that they were alive to ,the Labor cause. The Trades and Labor Council A-otecl a sum of £5 towards the funds of the branch, and this Avas received with thanks. * Regarding the Coronation a letter Avas' received from the Celebration Committee asking the members to take part in, the procession. After' discussion it was decided that owing to the majority of the members being -members' of Friendly Societies and other bc-dies that intended to .take a part in the procession, the Labor Party, could not do so.
