The town. hall was densely packed, and in spite of the fact that all the seats were hooked days ago, hundreds fruitlessly sought admission-. The Choir’s rendition of Handel’s ‘‘Messiah? ’ by over two hundred picked voices, accompanied ‘by the grand organ, was a revelation to the vast audience, who were thrilled and eathusiastic.
