REFORMATORY TREATMENT DUNEDIN, June 21. Ernest Albert Frame, an ex-industrial school boy, who had pleaded guilty in the lower court to the theft of an overcoat and jewellery, was sentenced by Mr Justice Williams to be detained for reformatory treatment at Invercargill, for a period not exceeding two years. SUDDEN DEATH AT WAIROA. WAIROA, June 22. Mr. Henry Sargent, one of Wairoa’s oldest settlers, died suddenly this morning/ Probably no inquest will be necessary as lie had a weakness of the heart. Deceased was well known in the Wellington and Hutt districts in the early days.
