SUMMARY AND FORECAST
[PEE PRESS ASSOCIATIONj WELLINGTON, June 26. The Meteorological Office last night issued the following weather summary and forecast: — ‘ The barometric pressure has risen steadily everywhere, and the weather has been cold and changeable with heaw showers in parts and hard frosts inland at night. Moderate to strong southerly - winds have prevailed. Present indications are for strong easterly winds northward of East Cape and f'Kawhia, and variable winds elsewhere. Cold and changeable weather is probable generally, with showers m parts, especially in the northernmost districts. The barometric pressure is unsteady, especially in the northern districts, where a temporary fall is ex pected.
