In the office of Justice of the Peace Hopkins in Utica, N.Y., recently, Alfred B. Lawrence, aged 22, son or •Vinter Lawrence, a millionaire of Pasadena, California’ and Miss Bertha B. Dougherty, aged 22, of Utica, were married. Lawrence, is a freshman at Colgate University. 'His bride was a salesgirl in one of the local department stores. ' It is reported that the marriage was one of the most romantic sort and than vne two had known each other but a shut time. Following the wedding the ‘ couple partook of a luncheon at a local hotel and later went to the hall game. At night the newly wedded pair hit /or a wedding trip to Syracuse. Rochester and Buffalo.
