A YOUNG WOMAN’S FATE
tFEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.! * AUCKLAND. June 26. Mrs Alice Burnett, a young married woman, severely burned by her clothing catching fire on June 14, died m the hospital yesterday. YOUNG MAN SHOT DEAD. As the lesult of an accidental discharge of a gun, Theodore Ballance, son of a schoolmaster at Mangonui, was shot in the groin while one of a shooting party at Doubtless Bay. He died a Mangonui hospital. _____
