TO PREVENT WHEAT CORNERS
A DRASTIC RULE
As a result of the Board of Trade’s investigation into the manipulation of the wheat market, a- drastic rule has been adopted jn Chicago with the object of preventing Tuture corners in grain. The rule provides that in the event of default a committee, appointed by the President of the Board of Trade, shall determine the commercial value of the grain as a basis of settlement.
